Controllers
The Acroloop
Controller family continues to grow. Currently
there are 7 different controllers to suit various needs in the
industry.
ACR8020:
1-16 Axes PCI-Bus Controller.
ACR8010:
1-8 Axes ISA-Bus or Standalone Controller.
ACR2000:
1-4 Axes ISA-Bus or Standalone Controller.
ACR1500:
4 Axes Low Cost ISA-Bus Controller.
ACR1200:
2 Axes Low Cost Standalone Controller.
All of the
controllers program identically and use the same firmware set.
The main differences between the controllers are performance, features
and cost. The ACR8020 is the flagship controller with 150Mhz CPU and
has fastest response. All controllers except the ACR1500 have on board
Optically Isolated 24Volt logic I/O. A basic summary is as follows.

The Acroloop
Controllers are used in a wide variety of single and multi
axis applications. The applications for the Acroloop controller family
are
virtually unlimited due to the flexible design. The main purpose of the
controllers is to provide a flexible yet easy to program environment while
ensuring the motion profile and digital I/O tasks are executed in real
time
independent of any operating system or operator station issues.
